The British Society of Baking (BSB) has added celebrity cake maker Mich Turner to its list of speakers at its annual autumn conference in October.

Taking place at Ardencote Manor Hotel, Claverdon, Warwick from 8-9 October, the conference will have a ‘Better Business’ theme.

Turner is founder of the Little Venice Cake Company, and is also a judge on ITV programme Britain’s Best Bakery.

Other speakers at the event include Andre Sarafilovic, managing director of craft baker Wm. Stephen (Bakers) Dunfermline and 2013 Scottish Baker of the Year, who will be give a talk about how to achieve success in challenging times.

Castle Computer Services will explain the vital topic of Cloud Computing for the baking industry, while Stephen Bickmore from Vandemoortele will update delegates on palm oil properties, uses, current regulations and those on the horizon.
