Bertinet Bakery has launched its craft bread range into 12 more Waitrose shops.

The bakery currently supplies into 16 stores across the south, but will now send bread to a further 12 shops.

The sites in Aylesbury and Milton Keynes Oakgrove will be supplied from the company’s new bakery in Milton Keynes.

The Milton Keynes site was built late last year to enable the business to expand around the south. It also meant the bakery could sign a partnership with Warburtons to expand its wholesale production output.

The contract means Warburtons will assist the bakery with infrastructure and distribution.

The Bertinet Bakery is owned and run by Richard Bertinet. The bakery also runs bread-making classes at The Bertinet Kitchen cookery school in Bath.
