Woodstock’s Artisan Bakery, Northamptonshire, has linked up with a local café to expand into its second branded retail outlet.

The primarily wholesale craft business has joined forces with the Dolphin Café, which will rebrand as Woodstock’s at The Dolphin Café.

The site will provide Woodstock’s entire range of bread, as well as pastries and cakes for sale made by the bakery.

Cate Casey, owner of The Dolphin Café, said: “This is great news; we have a strong relationship with our customers and a strong following in Towcester. The fact we are refreshing our premises and also our style of menu has proved perfect timing to team up with Woodstock’s.

“We look forward to supplying artisan bread to our customers and are looking to increase our customer base with the help of Woodstock’s reputation for delicious bread.”

Matthew Lane of Woodstock’s added: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining forces with The Dolphin. This allows us to expand into a new location and work with an established and well-loved business.

“We are very excited at the prospect of being able to supply to new customers and building a strong rapport in a new community, whilst increasing brand awareness. This is a great example of small businesses working together to grow.”

The bakery said it would continue to grow its wholesale customer base. Wholesale customers include contract caterers, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops.
