French bakery and patisserie producer Brioche Pasquier has launched new Mini Toasts, made from biscotte.

The new bite-size toasts are a healthy, low fat alternative to crackers, according to Brioche Pasquier, and “offer a crisp, appetising taste”. Made from biscotte (twice-baked French bread), the company described them as “the perfect base for seasonal canapés”.

Each Mini Toast measures 4cm x 4cm and can be accompanied by both sweet and savoury toppings. Free from preservatives and with a long shelf-life of 12 months, each pack of new Mini Toasts weighs 80g and comprises of 36 slices.

In May Brioche Pasquier launched its Black & White petits fours collection, made up of nine pieces.
