Yorkshire bakery Just Desserts has partnered with Belgian biscuit brand Lotus Biscoff to create a new handcrafted cheesecake.

The cheesecake comprises a Lotus Biscoff biscuit base topped with creamy cheesecake and marbled Biscoff spread. It is available in 1x16 portions and is aimed at the foodservice and hospitality markets.

“We are excited to launch our new Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake, especially being only a handful of businesses given permission to use the famous ‘little red biscuit’,” said Just Desserts managing director James O’Dwyer.

“Originally, these bite-sized biscuits were served up by the handful in the run up to Christmas to celebrate the Feast of St Nicholas, so are particularly appropriate for our new product in the build up to the festive season and beyond. Initial interest in the new product is very encouraging.”

It is the second collaboration for Lotus Biscoff in as many months. In September the biscuit brand teamed up with Krispy Kreme to create a S’mores doughnut – the businesses previously partnered in 2015 to launch a Krispy Kreme Lotus Caramelised Biscoff Doughnut.
