Decorations supplier Cake Décor has launched its sprinkles range in smaller pack sizes aimed at the artisan bakery and foodservice markets.
The Glasgow-based business already supplies a range of 200 different sprinkles in bulk (20kg) boxes to large baked goods manufacturers and is now launching the same range in 250g and 500g re-sealable packs.
“We are aiming these products at artisan bakeries, cupcake makers, doughnut makers, churros and waffle manufacturers, and coffee shops,” explained Cake Décor account manager Shufan Tran.
“We have an unrivalled range of sprinkles, sauces, icing tubes and sugar pastes, and we are now launching these, in trade packs, to these new channels.”
The majority of the products, which are all free from artificial colours and flavours, are manufactured by Cake Décor at its BRC AA+ site in Glasgow.
