Hobbs House Bakery is to supply two of its loaves to 150 National Trust cafés nationwide.

Bristol-based Hobbs House Bakery said it was approached by National Trust to develop a bread to add to its everyday sandwich offering. It added that it shared values with National Trust, noting that its strapline “handmade bread for everyone” fitted well with National Trust’s “forever for everyone”.

The loaves being served by National Trust are the White Everyday, a flat-top white loaf made baked in a traditional British tin, and the Harvester Everyday, a malted wheat loaf with a nutty taste.

"We are delighted and proud to be baking handmade bread for the National Trust,” saidGeorge Herbert, managing director at Hobbs House Bakery.

“Through our shared values we look forward to a great partnership for years to come."

Mikol Curteis, food and beverage sourcing manager at National Trust, added that Hobbs House Bakery was “the natural choice” and that the loaves add an artisan feel to the lunchtime menu.
