Cake design studio Rosalind Miller Cakes has rolled out a white wedding collection.

Inspired by the re-imagining of the classic white wedding cake, The White Collection is made up of three individual designs, including roses, dahlias and a variation of oriental poppy.

Part of its second 2020 collection, the cakes include a pure white colour palette, as well as over-sized, handmade paper flowers, reminiscent of fascinators, hats and couture fashion.

The company said it was keen to explore a new medium and material not commonly used in cake design. As such, the new designs are made from paper instead of sugarpaste, which allows light to seep through and produces a fabric-like effect.

Each integral flower shape and arrangement works to create a silhouette that brings together the simple and spectacular, added the company.
